• Make sails in different shapes and sizes. Which one works best?
• What happens if you blow on your sailboat from different directions?
• Take several pieces of aluminum foil, all the same size, and make each one into a different-shaped boat. You might fold one piece of foil to make it thicker and stronger. You might make one boat with high sides and another with a wide bottom. Make sure there are no leaks in your boats, then place them in water and start loading them with marbles. Which boat holds the most marbles?
