Hibernation

by Carolyn Scrace
Franklin Watts, 2002
This simple chapter book (each chapter consists of only two or three sentences) briefly describes a little dormouse’s hibernation cycle, from finding food and making a nest, to curling up to sleep, waking in spring, and beginning the search for food again. Captions and labels point out interesting details in the large, colorful artwork, and special half pages flip to show another aspect of a single scene.
