I love taking photographs, and so did Wilson Bentley. But most of all, Willie Bentley loved snow. He wanted to show everyone how beautiful snowflakes are. He tried catching them and drawing pictures, but the flakes melted before he could finish. So he tried photographing them. There was no one to show him how, but he eventually figured out a way, and he took hundreds and hundreds of photos of snowflakes. Every time I read this wonderful book about “Snowflake” Bentley, I can’t wait to go out and photograph some snowflakes myself!
